At the heart of the microphone is a sophisticated custom capsule design, with a supercardioid polar pattern. The supercardioid pattern provides exceptional off-axis rejection, providing high-end fidelity for sources in front of the microphone. It also includes a patented shockmount for decoupling the capsule from mechanical vibration, resulting in the lowest handling noise in its class.

The custom-developed DMC7 dynamic capsule provides crisp, open and natural sound. The result is high-end tonal accuracy and unparalleled sound reproduction.
