Styled in a brown sunburst finish, the Ibanez Artcore Series AG75 is a hollow-body electric guitar. It sports a maple body and a mahogany, set-in neck. The hollow single-cutaway body delivers a warm, resonant sound that is well suited for playing jazz, blues, country, and rock. The neck is fitted with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard which has acrylic block inlays and chrome tuners. In fact, chrome hardware is used throughout. The strings are intonated by an ART-1 bridge and attached with a VT60 tailpiece.
For electronics, the AG75 is equipped with a pair of Classic Elite humbucking neck and bridge pickups, along with a 3-way pickup selector switch, and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. The pickups offer a rich, nuanced tone with fat low end which nicely complements the wood's inherent tonal qualities.
This affordably priced instrument is highly respected for its tone, sustain, and ability to hold its tuning, making it an ideal choice for players of all levels.
